Tami Broskow, LCSW, PEL:SSW, earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois-Chicago, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her School Social Worker License from Aurora University.

Tami’s impressive career spans various facets of mental health from community-based outpatient mental health and substance abuse care, adolescent residential care and 20 years as a school social worker. She has dedicated years to training, mentoring and educating future social workers as an Adjunct Professor at Aurora University and by providing supervision to counselors and social workers.

Tami has many areas of expertise…including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, addressing the challenges of parenting, academic challenges, navigating school stress (including students, families and educators), caregiving for seniors and life transitions. She offers collaboration with other service providers, assistance with navigating special education services and school consultations.

She is interested in the connection between our physical and mental health, strengthening resiliency, building skills to navigate life’s stressors and the power of mindset. Tami has established herself as a strong supporter, phenomenal listener and exceptional advocate for others as they pursue change, strive for happiness and set goals to improve their lives.

Tami’s personal interests include reading, hiking, traveling with her husband of 32 years, kayaking, skiing, fishing and hanging out with her adult children whenever possible. Every summer Tami “tries” a new hobby; these have included crocheting, golf paddleboarding and fly fishing to name a few. As a true life long learner, she is always open to new experiences and adventures.
